Surfrider Foundation is looking for long term volunteers to be part of a team of water sample collectors and lab technicians who will report on the water quality of four popular recreation areas on the north coast at Seaside, Ecola State Park, downtown Cannon Beach and Oswald West (Short Sands). Monthly collection at each site, testing that water and reporting is the immediate goal. No experience is necessary, and training is provided. Change-up this month....Join us for a Peninsula Rain Garden work party. Come socialize while helping pull grass, weeds, and do continued up-keep on our rain garden. We will be educating as well about what a rain garden is and how you can install one in your yard!!! Gloves will be provided; Please wear boots and weather appropriate gear.
