Widget Builder!   Anyone can embed the calendar, or a filtered view of it, into their own website or blog.

Here is the widget builder for PDX and for 313 Detroit.

Import Entire Calendars!

Your organization has an entire calendar of events you’d like to import!   This brief video illustrates how to import events, followed at the bottom of this page by a more detailed import description.

1.)  Create an organization by clicking ‘Organizations’ in the top navigation bar.

2.)  In the left side bar you’ll see “Create a New Organization”.  Here you can add existing topics or create new ones that are relevant to your organization.

3.)  After clicking save, you’ll see “Link a New Calendar” at the top of the page.  Copy and paste the URL from your existing ICal, HCal, Facebook event page, Upcoming listing or Meetup page.  Have a separate calendar for volunteer opportunities, fundraisers, or public events?  Great!  You can import multiple calendars, and tag each calendar by event type.

Have a Google calendar?  Click the arrow by the name of the calendar.  In the drop down menu, choose “settings”.  Scroll down towards the bottom of this form, and click “ICal”.  A window opens with a URL that you can copy and paste into the importer.

Need additional guidance?  Check out this screen cast video for a walk you through on that option.
